Silk Paintings

In my workshops I use pre-printed designs by the artists Alison Beck and Hilary Broad, available from Silk Craft  (http://www.silkcraft.co.uk).

Each workshop member interprets one of these designs and turns it into a beautiful and unique greetings card or picture which can be framed and hung on the wall.

"This is the best thing I have ever done. I'm going to frame it when I get home."

A delighted delegate at a weekend retreat - who had hesitated to take part, saying she had never been any good at art.

As a Silk-Paint artist, I often create my own designs but I also enjoy interpreting the lovely Silk-Craft compositions and use them to make cards or pictures which I sell. In addition to cards I can give workshops in which we make silk scarves and other related products.

As well as making cards using silk-paint, I am a philosopher, God-lover and Religious Education specialist, so I also love to make and market cards which use photographs of natural beauty and inspiring words of wisdom from all around the world.

I can combine the Silk-Paint workshops with meditative exercises for a particularly inspiring and stress-reducing event.

My work can be bought from this website - contact me by email - you may also find my work at Craft Fairs etc.

The following selection illustrates some of my cards. More can be seen on the two following pages.

I was selling some of my Acrylic paintings and some Indian Bags as well as my Silk-Paint cards.
